Adele Decker Finger, 94, of Del Rio, Texas passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born Oct. 6, 1910 in Hondo, Texas. Survivors are her daughters, Mary Agnes Dechert of Del Rio; Linda Tharp & her husband, Tommy, of Elephant Butte, New, Mexico; her son, John R. Finger & his wife, Harriet, of Chesterfield, Virginia. Grandchildren include Emily Reynolds, Debbie D. Caffey, Buddy Reynolds, Shelley Johnson, Lisa Shores, Caroline Smith, Jay Tharp, Shannon Murphy & Sean Finger. Great-Grandchildren include Ryan, Kenedee, & Reagan Reynolds; Andy, Spencer, Bradley, & Ryan Johnson; Garrett, Matthew, Jamie & Christin Tharp; Alexis Shores, Aiden Smith; Caitlyn & Hunter Murphy; & Nadine Finger. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4PM until 6PM & with a Rosary at 7PM at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10AM Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Fischler, C.I.C.M. officiating. Burial will be at 2:30PM Monday at the Hondo Cemetery, Hondo, Texas. Pallbearers will be Sean Finger, Jay Tharp, Todd Johnson, Jeremy Shores, Joe Smith, Gene Caffey, & Buddy Reynolds. Mrs. Finger was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and also St. Ferdinand's Church in Blanco, Texas. She was the past president of the Mothers' Club at Sacred Heart School, past president & treasurer of the Altar Society, and a participant in bible studies. She was also a life member of the V.F.W.
