Adolpho Lopez Botello of Hondo, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2006, at the age of 60. He was born January 12, 1946, in San Antonio, the son of Anastacio & Ysidra (Lopez) Botello. Adolpho retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years with the rating of Store Keeper First Class. Recently he served 15 years as a Security Guard at the Air Force Village. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Benino Botello, Ramon Botello, Servando Almaguer, Gabriel Botello, Victor Botello; sister Elida Aguillra Al is survived by his wife Oralia Esquivel Botello of Hondo; son Adolpho E. Botello, jr. of Hondo; daughters Bridget B. Rodriguez and husband Rene of Hondo, Marcelyn L. Botello and husband Julio Guerrero, Jr. of Hondo, Michelle L. Botello of Hondo; 13 grandchildren, on great grandchild; brothers Ramiro Almaguer of San Antonio, Pablo Botello and wife Isabel of LaCoste; sister Maria Luisa Mascorro and husband Julian of Castroville. The Rosary was Friday, May 26, at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Funeral Service, was Saturday, May 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were Daniel Corona, Charles Maxie, Fernando Corona, Victor Botello, Jason Botello, Robert Rodriguez. Burial followed at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
