Alfred M. Lutz, 90, of D'Hanis passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2006. He was born in D'Hanis Aug. 24, 1916, a son of Joseph J. and Catherine Bischler Lutz. He was a farmer and rancher. He is preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings, Hubert Joseph, Raymond, Alphonse S., Edward William, Mary Ann Morgan and Margaret Ackermann. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited Monday, Nov. 20, at 9:45 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis, with Rev. Wallis J. Stiles officiating. The pallbearers were Julius Schmidt, Dennis J. Morgan, Donald Morgan, Henry J. Lutz, Thomas S. Lutz, Galen Bohlen. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
