Alicia Rodriguez Gonzales, age 66, of D'Hanis, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013. Born in LaPryor on May 2, 1947, she was the daughter of Jose B. and Sara (Flores) Rodriguez. Alicia loved to read, sew and work crossword puzzles. She worked in the home health care field. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Manuel Rodriguez Gonzales; sister, Sylvia R. Magdeleno; and brother, Arnold Rodriguez. Survivors include her husband, Trinidad Gonzales of D'Hanis; granddaughter, Yvette Diedre Gonzales of D'Hanis; brothers, Jose A. Rodriguez and wife Nicolasa, Alejandro Rodriguez, Artemio Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez and wife Odelia, all of Uvalde, and Alberto Rodriguez and wife Kathy of Texas City; sisters, Nelia Salazar and husband Guadalupe of LaPryor, Rosa E. Rodriguez of Chicago IL, Veronica R. Flores and husband Robert of Merkel, Zinna R. Aguilera and husband Juan of Horseshoe Bay and Cynthia R. Martinez and husband Cipriano of Uvalde. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel, with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held (today) Thursday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by interment at San Francisco Cemetery, D'Hanis. Pallbearers are Alberto Salazar, Rudy Ybarra Jr., Billy Gonzales, Chris Gonzales, Armando Gonzales Jr. and Arturo Rodriguez.
