Aloni R. Fuller of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2006, at the age of 58. She was born April 13, 1948, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Nettie I. Person and William R. Hunt. Aloni moved to Hondo in 1995 to work for the TDCJ Dominguez Unit as a drug and alcohol counselor. After that contract ended she was employed by the Hondo Independent School District as a teacher until 2003, when she had to take an early retirement due to an illness. She was loved by all her students. Aloni has always been a caring and giving person. She was strong-willed and misunderstood by many, but those of us who took the time to know her, loved and respected her, and she will be missed. Elsa is survived by her daughter, Nanetta Milici of Ft. Campbell, KY; son, LaTroy D. Robinson of Cleveland, MS; four grandchildren; mother, Netti I. Person of Austin; father, William R. Hunt of Chicago, IL; sisters, Donna J. Person of Chicago, IL, Linda Brunson of Hondo, Brenda J. Jackson and Judy Connor, both of Austin; brothers, Mark A. Person of Kansas City, MO, and David A. Jackson of Coffeyville, KS; ex-husband, Tommie L. Robinson of Cleveland, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, May 1, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo.
