Altugracia M. "Gracia" Guerrero of Hondo, Texas, passed away July 21, 2004, at the age of 75 years, 3 months, 5 days. Gracia was born on April 16, 1929, to Damasio & Consuelo (Gonzalez) Maldonado in Crystal City, Texas She was preceded in death by her parents; five children; son-in-law: Jose Gonzalez. Gracia is survived by husband: Julio R. Guerrero; son: Juan Guerrero of Hondo; daughters: Estella Carrasco and husband Ramon of Cornith, Beatrice Guzman and husband Frank of Austin, Sylvia Gonzalez of Pearsall, Diana Rodriguez of Austin, Consuelo Strickel and husband Wade of Austin, Julia Carrasco and husband Pedro of Hondo, Norma Guerrero of Austin, Mary Garcia and husband Chris of Austin; sons: Carlos Guerrero and wife Julie of Hondo, Julio Guerrero, Jr. of Hondo; 31 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, July 23, 2004. The Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm Saturday July 24, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were: Jesse Guerrero, Johnny Guerrero, Juan Guerrero, Julio Guerrero, Jr., Carlos Guerrero, Chris Torres, John David Villa. Interment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
