Andrea Ramirez Ramirez of Hondo passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. She was 89.

Born in Hondo, Nov. 11, 1930, she was the daughter of Esteban Ramirez and Maria Aguilar Ramirez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fidel Ramirez; grandchildren, Andrea Duran and Robert Sandoval; brothers, Norberto, Porfirio, Cipriano and Ramiro Ramirez; sisters, Julia Juarez and Guadalupe Dominguez; and sons-in-law, Manuel Duran, Baldo Sandoval and Raul J. Villarreal.

Survivors are her daughters, Olga Duran, Ofelia Sandoval, Elena Villarreal, Sylvia Fernandez, all of Hondo, and Elsa Ramirez (Gabriel Lopez) of Beeville; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Salvador Dominguez; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rosary will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
