Anita (Urrutia) Briseno, age 81, of Hondo passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010. Born Sept. 5, 1928, in Hondo, she was the daughter of Juan and Enemencia (Perez) Urrutia. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jesus M. Briseno and infant Louis Briseno; brother, Pedro Urrutia; sister, Vickie Yanez; and granddaughter, Delia Briseno. She is survived by her husband, Jose M. Briseno Jr. of Hondo; son, Jose M. Briseno III of Hondo; daughters, Margarita Gomez and Diamantina Chacon, both of San Antonio; and sister, Linda Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be Sunday, May 23, 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
