Anita Denise Ligon black age 44, passed away October 20, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 27, 1959, in Hondo, Texas, to Paul and Joyce (Davis) Ligon. Denise was a Administration Assistant with the Girl Scouts of the San Antonio Area. She is survived by husband: Robert Black; son: Troy Ligon, Daughters: Danielle Black, Stephine Black; sister: Paula Batteau of Houston; brothers: Kibo Ligon and wife Karen of San Angelo, Darren Ligon and wife Terry of El Paso. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, October 24 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, October 25 at the West End Baptist Church with burial following at the Cottonwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Maurice Blackshear, Therman Cotton, Tony Hackebeil, Michael Ligon, Robert Blackshear, James Garrett, Michael Wayne Holcomb, Eric Whitaker.
