Anthony Alaric Faseler, 16, of Bangkok, Thailand, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was born in Bangkok, June 16, 1999, the son of John and Tara Faseler. He attended International School of Bangkok, where he was involved with swimming, Model United Nations, water polo, Water Swim Instructor teaching, and Design Technology. Anthony was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 701. He was nearing completion of his Eagle rank, including his project to rebuild a garden pathway at Baan Rachawadee Orphanage in Nonthaburi, Thailand. He was also active with reading, gaming, hanging out and chatting with friends, scuba diving, participating and building for Habitat for Humanity. Anthony traveled the world and lived on several continents, including Africa, Asia and the US. Anthony is survived by his parents, John and Tara Faseler, and his brother, Branden. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, John Treloar, of Gold Coast, Australia, and Hedy Treloar, of Houston, Texas; and his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Marilyn Faseler, of Utopia, Texas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a truly global network of friends. The funeral will be held at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo, Texas. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 12th, from 3-7pm. The funeral service will be held in the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 13th, beginning at 1pm. Immediately following the service, the burial will be at Jones Cemetery in Utopia, Texas. The family asks that you consider donations to Habitat for Humanity.
