Antonia Garcia Rodriguez of Hondo passed away Saturday, Mar. 7, 2020. She was 78.

Born April 16, 1941, in Devine, she was the daughter of Calletano and Dominga Piña Garcia.

A  very giving person, Antonia was also quite a character and she loved to go shopping. She was a wonderful cook and her family was very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Federico "Fred" Rodriguez; son, Albino Barrios, Jr.; siblings, Lorenzo, Candelario, Andres and Victor Garcia, Lucinda Escamilla, Apolonia Garcia, Sarita Gonzales and Feliz Perez; and long-time companion, Corsino Barrientes.

Survivors include her brother, Juan Garcia of Kerrville; sister, Irene Garcia of San Antonio; stepchildren, Roberto Rodriguez, John Henry Rodriguez and Elizabeth Garcia; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday March 12, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.  The Funeral Mass willbe at 10:00 A.M. Friday March 13, 2020 at the St. John the Evngelist Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section
