Antonio Lopez Jr., age 53, of Devine passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in San Antonio. He was born July 23, 1955, in Lubbock, the son of Antonio Sr. and Minnie (Silva) Lopez. He was a mechanic. Antonio was preceded in death by his brothers, Rudy and Danny Lopez. He is survived by his parents of Devine; sisters, Sylvia Guardiola and husband Juan of Cashion AZ and Linda DeLeon and husband Armando of Plainview; sons, Anthony Sauceda and Domingo Lopez and wife Lonnie, all of Olton, and Tony Lopez of Plainview; daughters, Veronica Aviles and husband Roy of Ballinger and Yvonne Perez and husband Gabriel of Plainview.; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral service was at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Primera Iglesia Bautista Betania in Devine. Pallbearers were Ronnie Martinez, David Lopez, Domingo Lopez, Antonio Lopez Jr., Aaron Cisneros, Anthony Sauceda, Matthew Lopez and Rudy Barela. Interment was at Black Creek Cemetery.
