Armando M. Rodriguez, age 60, of Hondo passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. Born Aug. 27, 1951, in Mexico, he was the son of Abel and Feliciana (Mendoza) Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Leoniel D. "Lonny" Rodriguez. He was a tire repairman with CS&S Tires for manyyears and also did carpentry work. He is survived by his wife, Rosita (DeLeon) Rodriguez; daughters, Soila Rodriguez, Margie Hernandez and husband Mario and Isabel Ontiveros an husband Rojelio; sons, Rene Rodriguez and Christopher Rodriguez, all of Hondo; 15 grandchilren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several siblings in Mexico. Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo. Interment was at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Pallbearers were Darrius Lewis, Roy Ontiveros, Henry Garza Jr., Omar Hernandez, Lonnie Rodriguez Jr., Jose Rodriguez and Manuel Lopez.
