Arturo Morin Reyes of Hondo passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 79.

Born March 11, 1943, in Hondo, he was the son of Eugenio Reyes and Eugenia Morin Reyes.

Pajaro, as he was known, enjoyed fishing and photography and was a Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elida Benavides Reyes; and sister,  Eustolia Hernandez.

He is survived by his sisters, Cornelia Ybarra of Hondo, Ermila Reyes and Maria Elsa Tristan, both of San Antonio; and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will begin gathering at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Guinn-Horger Chapel and a memorial service will be held beginning at 3:00. Private interment will be at a later date at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
