Audra Rose Esparza Chambers of Hondo, 21, died as the result of an automobile accident Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018. Born in Hondo, Aug. 11, 1997, she was the daughter of Santos Esparza and Tanya Kim Ytuarte. Audra was a very loving young woman with a big heart. She loved spending time with family and friends, working out and modeling. She was an LVN with Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Francisco Cruz. Survivors include her daughter, Kara Laken Chambers: mother, Tanya Ytuarte of Hondo; father, Santos Esparza of Uvalde; brothers, Manuel (Tristine) Betancourt of San Antonio, Mikel (Dallas) Betancourt of Kingsville and Santos Jesus (Annacele) Esparza of Hondo; granddaughter of Susie Cruz of Hondo, Joe Esparza of Uvalde and Mary Esparza of San Antonio. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 6 to 8 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, Oct. 24, 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
