Baldemar Cipriano Sandoval of Hondo, 65, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018. Born May 15, 1952, in Mexico, he was the son of Gilberto and Felipa Cipriano Sandoval. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Baldemar also enjoyed dancing and watching movies. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Robert; brothers, Rojelio Lopez and Ediberto Sandoval; and grandparents, Pedro and Maria Marcos Cipriano and Mucio and Adelita Garza Sandoval. Baldemar is survived by his wife, Ofilia Ramirez Sandoval; son, Gilbert Sandoval and grandsons Sabastian (Adriana), Damian, and Micco Sandoval, all of Hondo; sisters, Evangelina (Richard) Mendoza of Hondo, Maria Trinidad Lopez of D'Hanis, Rosa (Fernando) Maldonado of Boerne, Beatrice (Simon) Garcia of Austin, Felipa (Floyd) Rivera of Hondo; brother, Juan Jose Lopez of San Antonio; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 22, 6 to 8 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
