Baltazar Govea Diaz of D'Hanis passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at the age of 57.

Born Jan. 6, 1964, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, he was the son of Jesus Govea and Paula Diaz Govea.

A hard-working man who loved to laugh, Baltazar  loved  his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Roseann Govea.

He is survived by his parents of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; son, Ramon Baltazar Govea (Briana) of Austin; daughter, Marisela Govea (Rodrigo Tavera) of D'Hanis; grandchildren, Luis, Yael, Axel, Alexha and Rodrigo Jr.; and sisters, Crispina Govea, Lucia Govea, Rocio  Govea  (Margarito), Zaleta Govea (Tito Nuñez) and Martha Perez (Manuel).

Rosary on Tuesday, Nov. 30, will be recited at 11:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
