Belen Arnold was born November 2, 1912 in Hondo, Texas. She passed away June 1, 2003 in San Antonio at the age of 90 years 6 months and 30 days. Belen was preceded in death by her parents: Lorenzo & Placida (Moreno) Hernandez; husband: Jack Arnold; brothers: Santos Hernandez, and Francisco Hernandez. Surviving are her brother: Thomas Hernandez and wife Flora of San Antonio; sisters: Nicholasa Hernandez of San Antonio, Concha Moreno of Idaho, Ventura H. Hernandez of Hondo, and Minerva Sanchez of Idaho; numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 3, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 4, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Interment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
