Beulah Mae (Rudinger) Lutz, age 94, of D'Hanis passed away April 4, 2009. She was born in D'Hanis Dec. 24, 1914, the daughter of Alfred and Wafa (Guly) Rudinger. After her marriage to William Lutz, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Mayme Ida Nester, Emma Nester, and Lillian Evelyn "Lillie" Lutz; and son-in-law, Melvin Pack. Survivors are her son, August A. Lutz and wife June of Kerrville; daughters, Alyne "Babs" Long and husband Curtis of D'Hanis, Mildred "Millie" Freeman and husband Rodney of D'Hanis; and Joan Pack of Grand Prairie; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Hettie Haby of Rio Medina. Rosary, followed by the Funeral Mass, was held Monday, April 6, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis, with Fr. Wallis J. Stiles officiating. Pallbearers were Albert Lutz, Bart Pack, Peter Lutz, James Freeman, Neil Pack and Al Lutz. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery, D'Hanis.
