Billie Jeane Woodward of Hondo, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2006, at the age of 78. She was born in Dallas, Texas, April 26, 1928, the daughter of Newman McKinley & Berniece Opal (Sheffield) Barnett. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Carroll Dickson Barnett. Billie is survived by her daughters Beverly Starr and husband Neal of Madisonville, Barbara White and husband Keith of Hondo, Bobbie Jones and husband Carl of San Antonio, Bethe Deal and husband Scott of Sabinal; eight grandchildren. The Funeral Service was at 2:00 p.m on Wednesday October 25 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home led by Chaplain Mike Bingaman. Solo music was by Russell Brown. The casket carriers were Neal Starr, Carl Jones, Keith White, Scott Deal, Jimmy Davis, Eulojio Munoz. Burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
