Blanca Estella Garcia of D'Hanis went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Apr. 4, 2019. She was 65. Born in D'Hanis on May 13, 1953, she was the daughter of Aniceto Garcia and Martina Muñiz Garcia. Blanca was a 1971 graduate of D'Hanis ISD. She was a caregiver for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leandro Muñiz, Emilio Garcia, Eliseo Garcia and Anastacio Garcia; and sisters, Leonarda Guerra, Pascuala Garcia, Paula Treviño and Manuela Rodriguez. She is survived by her sister, Louisa Alvarez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Apr. 8, followed by the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at the Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo. Interment will be at San Francisco Cemetery, D'Hanis.
