Bruce Carl Hartman, age 76, of Hondo passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. Born May 21, 1938, in Hondo, he was the son of George Karl "Buddy" and Florine Malinda Williams Hartman. He was a graduate of Northside (John Marshall) High School and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Bruce was a Texas real estate and mortgage broker, member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors, and manager for Ray Ellison Industries and Morton Southwest Homes. Bruce was an enthusiastic hunter, a talented musician and gunsmith, and a dedicated family man. He resided at the family ranch in Quihi and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Quihi Gun Club. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lisa Ann Hartman. He is survived by his wife, Rayma Patton Hartman; sons, Bryan Lee Hartman and Scott Michael (Celia) Hartman; brother, Bryan George Hartman; sister, Jeannie Hartman (Charles) Pircher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Quihi. Interment will be at Quihi Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
