Bryan Matthew Sullivan of Hondo, age 21, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021.

Born in Hondo, Dec. 27, 1999, he was the son of Anthony LeRoy and Nichole Michelle Freeman Sullivan.

Bryan had a great passion for martial arts and enjoyed helping others. He had a soft spot in his heart for his niece Charlie and for his girl Lori.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Gilbert Matthews.

He is survived by his parents, Anthony Sullivan of San Antonio and Nichole Sullivan of Hondo; sisters, Kaci Renae Sullivan (Alexander Treviño) and Abigail Bermea; niece, Charlotte Trevino, all of Hondo; girlfriend, Lori Portillo of Minneapolis MN; grandfather, Jack Matthews of Helotes, and grandparents, Anna and Franklin Sullivan of San Antonio.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at Guinn-Horger Chapel, prior to the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery Annex.
