Carol Andrea Kidd Finger died June 3, 2015, at her home in Hondo. She was 72. Born Jan. 30, 1943, in Fredericksburg, she was the daughter of Stanley and Liese Finkernagel Kidd. She married Richard A. Finger on July 15, 1961. A homemaker of many talents, Carol could create, or do, almost anything she put her mind to. She loved to sew, quilt and garden. She was an active member of United Methodist Women and Hondo Garden Club. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and twin daughters, Kelly and Shelly Finger. She is survived by her husband; son, Wade Finger; and granddaughters, Kelly Owen and Kristy Finger. Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist, Hondo, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in D'Hanis.
