Carol Janice "Jannie" Finn Bryant of Hondo passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024.  She was 68.

Born Aug. 10, 1956, in Corpus Christi, she was a daughter of Robert H. and Laura F. Passmore Finn.

Jannie's favorite things included creating good memories — like a backyard BBQ with friends and family or a short vacation to the coast. She loved riding horses, swimming, cooking, gardening and country music dances.

Her favorite quotation - and a saying she lived by - was "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Jannie was a proud Rotarian and served in many officer positions throughout her tenure in the Rotary Club of Hondo-D'Hanis. She asked in her final wishes that folks consider making a donation to The Rotary Foundation in her legal name, Carol Bryant, in lieu of flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Charles Alan Sadler, in 1991, and Albert William "Bill" Bryant II, in 2003.

Survivors include her children, Susan P. Moeller, Julie M. Moeller, Charles R. "Charlie" Sadler, and Cynthia K. "Cindy" Bryant; granddaughter, Alexandra "Lulu" Skelton; brother, Robert Hall Jr.; and sisters, Sharon "Sheri" Smith, Laura Patricia "Patti" Riemer and Victoria "Vicki" Wharton (David).

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 19, 6 to 7 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Guinn-Horger Chapel, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
