Carolyn Louise (Boehle) Baker, age 67, of Hondo passed away Monday, Apr.19, 2010, after a long illness. Born Jan. 1, 1943, in Hondo, she was the daughter of Alfred C. H. and Edna Louise (Heyen) Boehle. She was a secretary for Medina County Farm Bureau for 37 years and for three years at the Dominguez and Torres TDCJ Units. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Marie Boehle. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Duane Baker; daughters, Cheryl King and husband Tracy of Batesville and Laurie Henefey and husband Justin of D'Hanis; four grandchildren, Katelyn Marie and Clayton Baker King and Jacie Rene and Jett Robert Henefey; sister, Helen Muennink and husband Franklin of Hondo. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 22, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Quihi, with Pastor Stephen Schur officiating. Pallbearers are Glenn Muennink, Ronnie Muennink, Bill Bain, Bobby Cox, Melvin Baker and Dale Baker. Interment will be at Quihi Cemetery.
