Catherine Marie "Kay" Dougherty Finger, age 96, of Hondo was embraced by God on Aug. 24, 2015. She was an only child to John Joseph and Della (McCauley) Dougherty of San Francisco CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. Melvin Finger; daughter, Patsy Huebner, and grandson, Michael Huebner. She is survived by daughter, Theresa (Olin) Gilliam of Hondo; son, Joey (Shelli) Finger of Dunlay; and daughter, Judy Finger (fiancé Bob Grisham) of San Antonio; grandchildren, Joe Huebner, Jennifer Huebner Kuhlmann, Alton Huebner Jr., Stacie Dowis, Jonathan Schoellman, Jarrett Finger and Luke Finger; step-grandchildren, Megan Brown, Ash Gilliam and Mandi Gilliam; great-grandchildren, Courtland Huebner, Rebekah Kuhlmann, Lane Finger, Jack Huebner and Beau Finger; step-great-grandchildren, Ellie, Avery and Kaydee Brown, and Trace, Tilley and Luke Gilliam. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, with Rosary recited at 7 p.m,, and Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Aug. 27, 2 p.m., both at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo. Memorials may be made to the Church Building Fund or charity of choice.
