Charles John "CJ" Pichot of Hondo, Texas, passed away July 9, 2004, at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 26 days. CJ was born on March 13, 1917, to Adolph Albert & Minnie Eva (Bendele) Pichot in Hondo, Texas. He was preceded by his parents; wife: Alice Ruth (Saathoff) Pichot; sons: Dennis Leon Pichot, Clifton Charles Pichot; brothers: Homer L. Pichot, George A. Pichot and his wife Lee (Knobles) Pichot; brother-in-laws: M. B. Padgett, and Archie Brown. CJ is survived by his sons: Thomas Earl Pichot and wife Gwen of Laredo, Perry L. Pichot and wife Suzanne of Mustang, OK; daughter-in-laws: Laura Jane (Stricker) Pichot of Laredo; "Lupita" G. (Barrera) Pichot of Laredo; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Eva Mae Brown of Bandera, Adell Burger and husband Robert of Uvalde, Ada Bell Carrasco and husband Frank of Uvalde; sister-in-law: Ida Mae Pichot of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday, July 10, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 11, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The casketcarriers were: Russell Pichot Brandt, David N. Wharton, Jimmie Rains, Bob Padgett, Larry Winkler, Art Gault, and Kenneth Charles Pichot. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
