Charlotte Ann Bohmfalk went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held at New Fountain United Methodist Church on Friday, March 28, at 2:30 p.m. She was born April 10, 1947, to Ervin W. and Aleen (Wiemers) Bohmfalk and has lived at the S. A. State School since the deaths of her parents. She was baptized Sept. 14, 1947, at New Fountain Methodist Church. Charlotte was a sweet child and was loved by her parents and her caretakers at the school. he poem "Heaven's Very Special Child" by Edna Massmilla beautifully describes how special Charlotte's life was. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Edren Bohmfalk Robins; and her brother, Douglas Bohmfalk. She is survived by her sister-in-law and guardian, Fanelle Bohmfalk; nephews, Terry Mechler and wife Donna of New Braunfels, Ronald Mechler and wife Kayla of Helotes, David Mechler and wife Laquita of Medina Lake, Gordon Bohmfalk of Austin, Larry Bohmfalk and wife Andrea; niece, Kathy Bermea and husband Danny, all of Hondo; and many great- nephews and nieces.
