Charlotte Marie Koch Lutz of Hondo passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was 86.

Born in D'Hanis, Jan. 26, 1934, she was the daughter of Mathias M. Koch Sr. and Alma L. Bilhartz Koch.

Charlotte worked many years in the Medina County Tax Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hilmer John Lutz; brothers, Leo, Bernard and Eugene Koch; and sister, Helen Louise "Leora" Blount.

She is survived by her son, Brian Hilmer Lutz of Hondo; brother, Mathias M. Koch, Jr., of D'Hanis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will be Friday, July 3, 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., with Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. , followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, St. John Section.
