Christopher Lee Eccles of Sacramento, California, passed away January 10, 2006, at the age of 28 in Sacramento. He was born in Lynwood, California on February 4, 1977. In November 1980, he was lovingly adopted by Richard and Elaine Eccles, who had been his foster parents since 1979. He became a child of God through Holy Baptism at Concordia Lutheran in Cerritos, California on April 27, 1980. Hisinterests during his childhood included piano lessons and playing the saxophone. He was a member of the boy scouts and played some sports. He was married to Venessa Waite, their marriage was blessed with one child, Kendra Ashley, and they were divorced. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Maxine Eichholtz. Christopher is survived by his daughter, Kendra Ashley Eccles, his parents, Richard & Elaine Eccles; his grandfather, Walter Eichholtz, a sister, Lisa Nicole Cooke, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor David Mayer, was at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday January 25, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo.
