Clair Sue Stevens Lee, age 88, of New Braunfels, formerly of Hondo, passed away Tuesday, Aug, 11, 2015, at the age of 88 in a hospital in New Braunfels. Born in San Antonio, Dec. 18, 1926, she was the daughter of Wilmer Jackson Stevens and Georgie Kinman Stevens. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; sons, John Steven Lee and Donald Wayne Lee; brother, George H. Stevens; and sisters, Jewel Rath and Wayne Marie Graff. Survivors include her children, Candace Drake of Austin, Zaden (Lisa) Lee Jr. of Chicago, Lisa Ann (Tom) Gillespie of Canyon Lake; daughter-in-law, Ginger Popp Lee of Pipe Creek; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Kathy) Stevens of New Braunfels. Memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
