Clara Beatrice Gast of Hondo, Texas, passed away January 13, 2006, at the age of 68. She was born May 29, 1922, the daughter of Leonard & Ruby (Haus) Gonser. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Gary Looper, and Durward Looper; grandson Bev Russell Lindeman; twin sister Mary Francis Gonser; brother Doug Gonser. Clara is survived by her daughter Lea Lindeman and husband Rusty; son C. B. Looper, Jr; grandchildren Brandy Redden, Becky Santos, Jodie Looper, Lance Looper, Leann Porter and Trista Snodgrass; great-grandchildren Austin Porter, Marissa, Harper Santos, Reece Redden, Raine Redden; sisters Patti Hughes of Dimmit, Dean Broyles of Friona. The Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Beverly Burk and Ricky Burk, was at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 16, at the First United Methodist Church of Hondo.
