Obituary

Coila Fae (Murphy) Bradley, age 80, of Hondo, formerly of Ft. Stockton, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Born June 11, 1931, in Stafford, KS, she was the daughter of Truman Lanphear and Rita Mae (Pitts) Murphy, who have preceded her in death. She was a 1953 graduate of Texas Christian University, was a teacher with Ft. Stockton ISD for 43 years and was a member of First Christian Church. Coila is survived by her son, Miles Bradley and wife Janet of Hondo; daughter, Stacy Pasqua and husband Tracy of Ft. Stockton; grandchildren, Millie Bradley-Martinez, Robert Smith and wife Lindsey and Steven Smith and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Lee Ann Smith, Allison Smith, Isabella Martinez, Andrew Smith, and Emily Smith; and sister; Vera Ozell Murphy of Georgetown. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at First Christian Church in Ft. Stockton. The family suggests memorials may be made to Julliette Fowler Homes, 1234 Abrams Rd., Dallas TX 75214, or Pecos County Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, 310 IH-10, Ft. Stockton, TX 79735.
