Colleen Lynn Cupp, age 52, of Yancey passed away Friday, June 24, 2011. Born Aug. 25, 1958, in Shelby County, TN, she was the daughter of Cletus Eugene and Dorothy (Dedrick) Cupp. Her parents preceded her in death. She was a dance instructor with Arthur Murray Studios. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Delk of Yancey; step-daughter, Courtney Delk; sister, Sandy Schaffer of Groom, Texas; half-brothers, Robert Allen Cupp of Illinois, Richard Grandon of Arkansas. Daniel Grandon of Arizona; aunts, Iveriah Austin, Joyce Miles and Barb Bartley, all of Arkansas. A memorial service is planned at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 30, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Hondo Animal Shelter.
