Concepcion "Concha" Miranda, age 84, of Hondo passed away Saturday, Apr. 14, 2012. Born February 19, 1928, in Hondo, she was the daughter of Ylario and Ramona (Rivera) Ybarra. Concha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Apolonio Miranda and siblings; Victor, Vicente, Felberto, Jose, Teofilo Ybarra, Juanita Gonzales, Victoria Sanchez, Teodosa Correa, and Maria Correa. She is survived by her daughters, Alberta Rodriguez and husband Frank, Gloria Arcos and husband Charlie both of Hondo, sons; Apolonio Miranda, Jr and wife Debbie of Kansas, Trinidad Miranda and wife Jamie of San Antonio. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Apr. 18, both at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
