Connie Ruth (Milam) Park, age 98, of Devine passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, in Castroville. She was born July 19, 1909, in Moore, daughter of Oscar Everett and Sarah Ellen (Brown) Milam. She was married to her husband, Raymond D. Park Sr., just shy of 71 years. She enjoyed listening to music, along with dancing. Connie¿½s life was full of love for her many family and friends, with whom she thoroughly enjoyed socializing. She attended college at San Marcos and later became a teacher. Connie taught at Schattel, Castroville, Devine, Moore, and Helotes, just to name a few. She was a a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Curch of Devine and also taught Catechism for years. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Loys and Bob Milam; and sister, Faye (Milam) Plummer. Survivors include her son, Raymond David Park Jr.; daughter, Polly Park Scott; five grandchildren, David Mark Scott, John Matthew Scott, David Roy Park, Tracy Park McKee, and Tricia Park; five great-grandchildren, Amber Freda, Lindsey Kluth, Rayn Park, Ashli Malatek, and Chad McKee; brother and sister-in-law, O. E. and Shirley Milam; sister-in-law, Norma Milam; and numerous special friends and faithful caregivers. Graveside service was conducted by Deacon George R. Torres on Thursday, Jan. 10, at 1 p.m. at Moore Cemetery. The casketcarriers were John Frank Milam, David Roy Park, Emilio Rangel, Bobby Rangel, L. John Milam, Patriuck McMillan
