Constance Marie Harrison April 26, 1934 to April 15, 2019 Constance Marie Harrison was born April 26, 1934, to George Edward Corning and Laura Marie (Traver)) Corning in Cozad, Nebraska. She died quietly under hospice care in Hondo, Texas, on April 15, 2019. Connie attended Billings Sr. High School in Montana and then she continued her education and received her Associate degree in Business at the University of Montana. Connie met her husband, Lloyd M. Harrison, in college and married on July 16, 1957, at the First Congregtional Church in Billings MT. She moved with her husband and son Chris to Salt Lake UT, then on to Denver. She went home to Billings to have their daughter Nancy and then moved to San Antonio TX. When both kids were grown, she moved to Aransas Pass TX with Lloyd and stayed till his death in 2001. Connie than moved to Hondo TX to be closer to her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Lloyd M. Harrison; and her brother, LeRoy E. Corning. She is survived by her son, Christopher R. Harrison (Nancy); daughter, Nancy McDonald (Mark); grandchildren, Justin McDonald, Clinton Harrison (Leslie), Michael McDonald (Vanessa), and Marie McDonald; great-grandchildren, Lanie Harrison, Liberty Harrison, and Rylee McDonald. Connie loved the outdoors. Her top things to do were to golf weekly, and to maintain her yard and garden. She loved her flowers, especially her roses and Gerber daisies. To round out her love for life was any water sport which included fishing and skiing. She had the opportunity to watch her first great-granddaughter learn to water ski. She loved to travel with any of us at the drop of a hat. She would beat the socks off of most anyone playing Texas Hold-um and was known as the "Con-inator." In her younger years she bowled with a league and carried a 154 average and was the top of her team. She was the most loving, non-judgmental, Mom, Bama and aunt to her family. She was a loyal and loving wife to Lloyd and friend to everyone she met. A Memorial service will be held in Hondo, April 27, 2019, at 2:00 PM at the Guinn Funeral Home. There will be a reception to follow at her home for family and friends.
