Cynthia Ann Gomez Cuellar of Hondo, age 68, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, in San Antonio.

She was born Sept. 22, 1956, in Hondo, the eldest child of Ildefonso and Rosa Escamilla Gomez. She was preceded in death by her father.

Cynthia was an LVN for more than 30 years. Caring for others was what she did best – putting everyone and their needs ahead of her own. She left a positive impact on everyone she would come in contact with. She was loved dearly. She was strong of will and strong of spirit. A devout Catholic who never strayed from her faith. She loved her grandchildren and her cats profoundly.

Survivors include her mother, Rosa Sittre; sons, Christopher Moreno and Estevan Cuellar; daughter, Analycia "Ana" Cuellar; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Gustavo Gomez (Norma), Randy Gomez (Janie), Ray Gomez (Beatrice), Jonathan Sittre and Todd Sittre.

Rosary will be Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
