Daniel Vincent "D.V." Day, Jr. of Hondo, Texas, passed away June 18, 2004, at the age of 80 years, 6 days. D.V. was born on June 12, 1924 in Crystal City, Texas to Daniel V. & Bessie (Hopper) Day. He is a WWII Veteran. He was preceded by his parents; wife: Alma (Nester) Day, and son: Jeffery L. Day. He is survived by a brother Bobby Day and wife Billie of Star, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, June 21, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 22, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
