Dale Edward Klaeger, age 59, of Hondo/Biry passed away at his home Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Born Nov. 5, 1952, in Alice, he was the son of Joseph Hart and Carolyn Marie (Phillips) Klaeger. Dale graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1971. He was a independent oil operator in Medina County. He was an avid outdoorsman and traveler, and loved being with family and friends. His daughters considered him an amazing father. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Klaeger of Marble Falls; daughters, Kaci Roxanne Klaeger and Ashlee Marie Klaeger, both of Hondo; brothers, Buddy Klaeger of Refugio and Robert Klaeger and wife Donna of Marble Falls; nieces, nephews and close friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13, at New Fountain United Methodist Church. Service will conclude at the church. The family suggests memorials may be made to New Fountain United Methodist Church.
