Dale August Muennink, age 65 years, 0 months, and 10 days, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2005. He was born in Tomball, on February 21, 1940, the son of August Fredrick & Mattie Mae (DuBose) Muennink. Dale was a retired oil field roughneck. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sybil "Sandy" (Black) Muennink. Dale is survived by his sons, Steve A. Muennink and wife Victoria of Hondo, Ricky L. Yates of Hondo, Delvis C. Yates and wife Shirley of Plantersville; 10 grandchildren. Visitation is from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 6, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service is at 10:00 am on Monday, March 7, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The casket carriers were John Tschirhart, J. E. Saathoff, Trini Gonzales, Gary Halbardier, James Kyle Faseler, Sr., Albert Cortez. The burial will follow at the Tomerlin Cemetery, Zig Zag Community.
