Daniel Carrillo, Age 94 years, 0 months, and 3 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Friday, January 7, 2005. He was born in Mexico, on January 4, 1911, the son of Calletano V. & Rita (Gomez) Carrillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Maria (Morales) Carrillo; son Luis Carrillo; daughters Ramana DeLeon, Tomasa Gauna. Daniel is survived by his daughters Dominga Garcia and husband Sostenes of Yancey, Rosa Gallegos and husband Jesus of Devine, Leonor Garcia and husband Abran of Hondo; sons Amador Carrillo of Hondo, Daniel Carrillo, Jr. of Yancey Santiago Carrillo of Devine; daughters Juanita Sarabia and husband David of Hondo, Yolanda Lopez and husband Richard of Hondo; sons Reymundo Carrillo of Hondo, Emillio Carrillo of Devine; son-in-laws Manuel DeLeon of Yancey, Guadalupe Gauna of Hondo; 32 grand children, 40 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Sunday, January 9 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Monday, January 10, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Pallbearers were Santiago Carrillo, Jr., Joshua Carrillo, Israel Carrillo, Amador Carrillo, Jr., Pete Gauna, Kaime Sarabia. The burial will follow in the Yancey Cemetery.
