Daniel Correa, Sr., age 58, of Hondo, passed away March 3, 2004. He was born on June 1, 1909, at Yancey, Texas, to Esteban & Victoria (Hernandez) Correa. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Teadora (Ybarra) Correa; brothers; Antonio Correa, Eliseo Correa, Tomas Correa. He is survived by his sons: Felix Correa and wife Maria of Hondo, Eufemio Correa and wife Sofia of Rockford, IL, Daniel Correa, Jr. and wife Dolores of San Antonio; daughters: Sofia Escamilla of Hondo, Mary Garza of Hondo, Ester Renderos of San Antonio, Martha Gonzales and husband George of San Antonio, Lidia Garcia and husband Adolfo of Hondo. The Prayer Service was, Friday, March 5, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. . The Funeral Service is scheduled for, Saturday, March 6, at 3:00 p.m., at the Primero Inglesa Bautista Mexicana and the burial will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section. The casketbearers were: Donna C. Garcia, Sandy Moczygemba, Roxanne Valdez, Belinda Correa, Esmeralda Penny, Dina Kay Renderos, Janis K. Correa, Georgina Gonzales.
