Darell H. Ivory, age 68, of D'Hanis passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, surrounded by his family. Born Feb. 12, 1946, in Dearborn MI, he was the son of Herschel and Margaret (Chubb) Ivory, who preceded him in death. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the 4th/12th Cavalry Mechanized Armored Division. He retired as a cable technician with AT&T and was an active member of Cowboy Church in God's Country. Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Patricia Berrrey Ivory of D'Hanis; daughter, Teresa Lynn Fears and husband Deryl of Spring; son, David D. Ivory of D'Hanis; grandchildren, Devon Lynn Fears, Daelan Lee Fears, Dustin Lynn Fears and Taylor Melissa Schroeder; sisters, Beverly Mollencoph, Lynn Persons and Charlene Baird of Spring. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Cowboy Church in God's Country, Hondo.
