David C. Gallegos went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at the age of 70 years. David was born on March 13, 1937, in D'Hanis, Texas, the son of Melchor O. and Vicenta (Cortez) Gallegos, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Evangelina Gallegos; brother-in-law, George Gomez. David is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Rodriguez) Gallegos of D'Hanis; son, David Ray Gallegos of San Angelo; grandson, David Ray Gallegos, II of Laredo; brothers, Gilbert Gallegos and wife Oralia of Uvalde, Rudolfo Gallegos and wife Juanita of D'Hanis; sisters, Velia Gonzales and husband Ramon of D'Hanis, Vicenta Gomez of D'Hanis. The Rosary was at the Holy Cross Catholic Church on Sunday, November 25, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass was be at the Holy Cross Catholic Church on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. The pallbearers were Joe Pargas, Julio Mark Gomez, Guillermo Peña, J. R. Garcia, Patrick Morris, Joseph Hernandez. Burial Service followed at the San Francisco Cemetery in D'Hanis.
