David Douglas Ivory of D'Hanis, 47, passed away Friday, Mar. 24, 2017. Born Nov. 18, 1969, in Royal Oak MI, he was the son of Darell H. and Patricia Berrey Ivory. He is preceded in death by his father. He went to high school in Houston and later completed electronics school. He could build a computer from the ground up. David loved taking care of his mother after the passing of his father. When he loved someone, he held them deep in his heart. He also loved attending church, where he was a greeter to all who would come. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Patricia of D'Hanis; daughter, Taylor Melissa Schroeder of Spring; sister, Teresa Lynn (Deryl) Fears of Spring; and nephews, Devon Lynn, Daelan Lee and Dustin Lynn Fears. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Cowboy Church in Hondo on April 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.. The family suggests memorials may be made to Cowboy Church in God's Country.
