Debra Lynn Echtle, mother, Oma, daughter, sister, fiancee, aunt, niece and friend went to join her mother in heaven on January 21, 2016. Debra was born April 18, 1964 in Castroville to Julius Paul Echtle and Margaret Jane Cullins Echtle. In 1981 she graduated from Medina Valley High School. Currently she was employed as a secretary at Flourney Construction Company in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandson, Justin Lee Dorman and uncle, Mike Cullins. Debra is survived by her son, Roy Thomas Echtle of San Antonio; daughters, Jessica Smith of Castroville, Jennifer (Greg) Bowen of Gadsden, Alabama; "adopted daughter", Suzanne Elsmore of Castroville; step-daughter, Tiffany "Tater Tot" Hoffman of San Antonio; grandchildren, Vhictorya Camacho Lezli Gail Bowen, Dustin Blaze Dorman, Odessa Rayne Giles, Amelia Jayne Bowen, Elijah Perales; father Julius P. Echtle of San Antonio; brother, Danny (Shelley) Echtle of Forney, TX; uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Joyce Echtle of San Antonio; aunt, Shirley Cullins of Utopia; fiancé, Wyatt Krantz of Nashville, TN; numerous other relatives, friends and all of Castroville. A Memorial Service to remember Debra will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
