Debra R. Tovar, age 50, of Hondo passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. She was born Mar. 8, 1958, in Lincoln Park, MI, the daughter of Earl C. and Patricia E. (Grindall) Jenkins. Debra was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Jenkins of Westland, MI; daughters, Deanna Tovar of D'Hanis, Melissa Guerra and husband Julian of Hondo, and Christy Tovar of Natalia; son, Joseph Tovar and wife Whitney of New Braunfels; stepdaughter, Sylvia Tovar of Hondo; stepsons, Mark Tovar and wife Leticia of Del Rio and Michael Tovar of Devine; six grandchildren, Breanna and Tyler Rodriguez, Cameron Tovar, Kayla Guerra, Jazmin, Candis and Ancella Corona; brothers, Lawrence Jenkins and wife Linda of Michigan, Brian Jenkins and wife Sheila of Frisco; and life partner, Grace Guajardo. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Guinn-Horger Chapel, followed by graveside service at 3 p.m. and interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
