Diamantina Lopez Reyes was born June 7, 1930, in Hondo, Texas, the son of Alvino & Josefa (Del Toro) Lopez. Diama of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away September 5, 2003, at the age of 73 years two months 29 days in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Gloria Reyes Rodriguez; sisters: Josephina Ortiz, and Rosa Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband: Gavino Cortez Reyes; sons: Mario Reyes of D'Hanis, Leroy Reyes and wife Jan of Castroville; daughters: Beverly Guerra and husband Henry of D'Hanis, Kay Lee Coronado and husband Jesse of Hondo; grand children: Shannon Muniz, Abby Mejia, Blake Guerra, Dustin Reyes, Dillion Reyes, Roddy Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, R. J. Rodriguez, Justin Coronado; great grandchildren: Jessica Rodriguez, Josh Rodriguez, Christina Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez, Reilly Mejia, Callie Shannon Mejia, Keagan Muniz, Johnny C. Muniz; brothers: Rogelio and Armando Lopez of D'Hanis; sister: Uvaldina DeLeon of D'Hanis. The Rosary will be Monday, September 8, at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 9, 10:00 a.m., both at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. Pallbearers were Henry Blake Guerra, Steve A. DeLeon, Jimmy A. DeLeon, Rodrick Rodriguez, Alex Ortiz, Jr., Dustin Reyes. Interment followed in San Francisco Cemetery. Arrangements were by Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, Hondo.
